MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay is urging local businesses to consider putting their businesses forward for this year’s Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Awards in Wales.
With the aim of celebrating business as a force for good in Wales, the Responsible Business Awards are the longest running, most respected corporate responsibility awards, and are open to all BITC members as well as non-member private sector businesses based in or having an operational presence in Wales. Entry is free.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mr Ramsay, who chairs the Assembly’s influential Business and Enterprise Committee said:
“Assessors are looking for businesses that are enterprising, growing, working with young people or committed to supporting the environment. If you feel these criteria apply to your business, I would urge you to submit an Award entry.
“You can obtain more information on the http://www.bitc.org.uk/awards website. The deadline for submitting entries is February 21st.”
