Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay supported British Heart Foundation’s special fundraising day last Friday by calling in at the Monmouth shop to meet staff and volunteers.
The “Ramp up the Red” event held across the UK last Friday 7th February helped raise funds to support everyone suffering with a heart condition.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I’m pleased to have been able to meets volunteers working at Monmouth’s British Heart Foundation shop together with their Manager Amanda McDonald and Assistant Manager Victoria Kellaway.
“The British Heart Foundation is the biggest funder of charitable heart research in the UK, and their research helps transform the lives of many people affected by heart conditions. I was very pleased to have been able to call in and support the charity’s work fighting for everyone from babies to grandparents with heart problems.”
