Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay AM, has sent a letter of support for CASH’s campaign to retain The Hill for community use and education. Coleg Gwent have invited expressions of interest prior to formal sealed bids for the property by the deadline of 3rd March.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I’m backing the campaign’s bid to save The Hill so that it may once again be a valuable centre for life-long learning within Monmouthshire.
“I understand that Monmouthshire County Council is supporting CASH’s bid too, and I hope that sufficient funding from local businesses will be found to enable the bid to succeed.
“I know how much local support there is for the campaign and how eager many people are to see The Hill once again in community use.”
