LOCAL Assembly Member Nick Ramsay has been contacted by residents who are growing increasingly concerned over the continued closure of the B4347 between Skenfrith and Grosmont following landslips earlier this year.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I’m very concerned at the inconvenience this is causing local residents and the local economy.
“I’ve contacted the council to request that the necessary repair work is undertaken as soon as possible. I know the dreadful weather we have experienced this winter and the impact this has had on roads in Monmouthshire has done nothing to help the council’s overstretched budget.
“Assistance is needed urgently to help get things back to normal, and I’m requesting the Welsh Government’s Transport Minister to give this matter the attention it deserves.”
