Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, attended the Police Commissioner’s regular briefing at Police Headquarters last Friday.
The meeting touched on a wide range of policing and community issues including the closure of local police stations, concerns regarding plans to rationalise courts and the need to make local policing as responsive as possible. The complicated arrangements being made for the forthcoming NATO summit later this year were also discussed.
Speaking today Nick said:
“As always this was an extremely useful meeting. I appreciate Ian Johnson’s hands on approach, and will continue to work closely with him over the coming months to help make Monmouthshire a safer place.
