Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, visited Govilon last Friday to meet local residents who are worried about plans for new housing in their area which will gain access through their streets.
Speaking today Nick said:
“The residents of Ty Clyd Close, Govilon met with me to explain that while they do not object to the proposed new housing, they are unhappy about access to the new development through their street.
“Having visited the site I do understand the residents’ concerns as their street is not suitable for construction vehicles. I agree with residents that access for vehicles is needed from the main road from the start.
“There are also drainage concerns also relating to the adequacy of the sewage system for the new development and I am taking up these issues with both the Council and National Parks.”
