AM Enjoys Afternoon Tea at “Humble by Nature”

Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, attended the charity event organised by Monmouthshire County Council’s Chairman Councillor John Prosser yesterday afternoon at Upper Meend Farm, Penallt, the home of “Humble By Nature”.

The Chairman of the Council hosted afternoon tea with tickets in aid of his nominated charities combining this with a tour of the farm business.

Speaking today Nick said:

“I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. It was a great opportunity to see how Kate Humble and her husband Ludo have created a business showcasing rural skills, cookery and learning with a broad range of courses on offer.

“The farm provides something for everyone including a farm shop and café, and I look forward to visiting again soon. Not only was the afternoon very interesting, but it helped raised funds for charity too.”
