MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay recently addressed meetings of Usk Town Council and Llanbadoc and Gwehelog Community Councils. Mr Ramsay was invited to speak to councillors and members of the public as part of his on-going tour of community and town councils in the constituency to help explain the proposed financial changes to the way the Assembly works.
Speaking today, Mr Ramsay said:
“I know many people are at the very least confused, and in some cases concerned about the tax powers proposals for the Assembly.
“These meetings provide a good opportunity for constituents to ask questions and for me to be able to clarify matters.”
