AM Visits Llanvihangel Crucorney to Meet Residents Concerned about Road Safety

LOCAL Assembly Member Nick Ramsay yesterday met with residents from the Llanvihangel Crucorney area who have a number of concerns about road safety issues relating to the A465.

Local residents consider that road signage on the A465 in the vicinity of their village needs to be improved to prevent road traffic accidents and improve road safety.

After attending the site meeting, Mr Ramsay said:

“I agree that the suggested road signage improvements put to me at the meeting would be beneficial.

“I am writing to Monmouthshire County Council initially to outline the safety issues that have been brought to my attention with the existing signage, and I hope that some additional signage will be erected before too long in accordance with the wishes of the local community.”
