Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay was pleased to have been able to attend the Llanfrefchfa Grange walled garden involvement event held yesterday.
The event was organised to provide information about the Walled Garden Community Project at Llanfrechfa Grange. Visitors could view the proposals and discuss design ideas for the garden as well as visiting the site.
Speaking after the visit Nick said:
“We were taken on a tour of the garden to see this exciting new project for the local community. A footpath through the regenerated garden will link the original Llanfrechfa Grange house with the new Critical Care Centre.
“Llanfrechfa Grange is steeped in history, and has been an important part of the Llanfrechfa landscape since Victorian times. The Walled Garden will help enhance this history.
“Clearly this project is in the early stages and requires support. I’m happy to do what I can to help it become a reality.”
