Local Assembly Member for Monmouth Constituency, Nick Ramsay, will raise a number of pressing issues affecting the A40 in Monmouthshire in the Assembly Chamber today.
During today’s Business Statement Nick will ask for a debate in the Chamber on the need for noise mitigation measures on the concrete section of the road adjacent to the Bryn.
He will also be calling for a review of the problems with the junction of the A40 in Raglan with the old Monmouth Road, scene of a number of accidents and near misses over the years.
Speaking earlier today Nick said:
“There are a number of problems affecting the A40 through Monmouthshire, and the Welsh Government’s focus over recent years has been the dualling of the A465 Heads of the Valleys road. However, I believe that the problems affecting the A40 in Monmouthshire need to be addressed with immediate effect.”
