Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay was delighted to attend the Chepstow Grand prix cycling event that took place in Chepstow yesterday evening.
Wednesday evening saw an action packed race around the narrow streets of Chepstow Town Centre as top British riders tackled the technical course through the town.
Speaking after the event Nick said:
“I was very please to be asked to present the award to the winning cyclist, Graham Briggs, and enjoyed the evening’s racing events.
“It’s great that Monmouthshire attracts so many top riders to both Chepstow and Abergavenny over these few days in August. It must help spur on local club cyclists and local youngsters to work hard to improve their cycling skills.
“Congratulations to all those involved in organising the event and the generous sponsors.”
