LOCAL Assembly Member Nick Ramsay paid a visit to Abergavenny Jobcentre earlier today to meet the Manager, Rich Aston, and members of staff for an update on the local job market and news of the current areas being worked on to support claimants back into work.
Speaking after the visit Nick said:
“Our Jobcentres are working on a number of pilots currently, all aimed at providing easier access to jobs and training. The initiatives they deliver have a significant impact on making a difference to people’s chances of getting a job.
“For those seeking employment the local Jobcentre is often the first port of call, and I commend the staff for the work they do.”
