MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay is delighted that two of the five restaurants in Wales named in the new Michelin Guide 2016 are in Monmouthshire.
The Walnut Tree Inn near Abergavenny and The Whitebrook in the Wye Valley have been successful again this year in retaining their coveted Michelin star.
Speaking today, Mr Ramsay said:
“Monmouthshire is very lucky to have so many excellent restaurants and high quality local food producers. The reputation of our best restaurants draws many people to visit the area, and long may this continue.
“Congratulations to The Walnut Tree and The Whitebrook on maintaining their Michelin stars and keeping Monmouthshire as a renowned “foodie” destination not only in Wales but also the UK.”
