MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay was delighted to meet up with Beverley Jones and other Time to Change Wales Champions who visited the Assembly recently.
Bev, who lives in Raglan, is one of a number of volunteers campaigning to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.
Speaking after the event, Mr Ramsay said:
“Many of us either experience some form of mental health problem at some point in our lives or know of someone who has.
“I would like to congratulate Beverley and all those involved in this campaign who are doing a great job in raising awareness of mental health problems by sharing their own experiences with others and challenging the stigma so often attached to mental health issues.
“People like Bev are at the heart of the Time to Change Wales campaign and I wish them every success.”
