Nick, who also attended a Harvest Festival service and lunch in his home village of Raglan, said on Monday:

“I was delighted to attend both these events- Harvest is a joyous celebration of the end of the Harvest season and as with both these events, an opportunity to help charitable causes.”

A collection from the St Cadoc’s Church Service will be sent to the international charity Water Aid while proceeds from the Usk Harvest Supper will be divided between the Wales Air Ambulance Service and the children’s charity, Noah’s Ark, the chosen charities of Monmouthshire County Council Chairman, Cllr Brian Strong.
