LOCAL Assembly Member Nick Ramsay attended the Remembrance Day parades and services held at both Abergavenny and Usk on Sunday.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I was very pleased to see such a great turn out supporting our troops on Sunday despite the dreadful weather conditions.
“Both services were extremely moving, and the parade in Usk was the longest I have seen in a very long time.
“It’s clear to me that the act of remembrance is as important to local people in Monmouthshire as it has ever been. It sends a very important message of support to our armed forces and the families of all those involved in conflict both now and in the past.”
