MONMOUTH AM Nick Ramsay opened Crucorney Church Fayre at St Michael’s Church on Saturday morning to help raise funds for a new wheelchair for Callum Arnold.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I was delighted to help raise funds for this very worthy cause, fundraising for a new all-terrain motorised wheelchair for Callum who has suffered from Lesch Nyhan Syndrome since birth.
“Callum badly needs a new wheelchair so he can join his dad on his cross country runs and £15,000 must be raised to cover the cost.
“It’s good to see the community fully behind this campaign.
“Crucorney Church Fayre was packed and proved to be a great way to raise funds for Callum.
“Let’s keep up the momentum so we reach the £15,000 target as soon as possible so Callum can be out with his dad enjoying the Monmouthshire countryside.”
