MONMOUTH Assembly Member Nick Ramsay had a meeting recently with Phillip Mungeam, Chairman of Usk Chamber of Trade, to learn more about plans for a Summer Festival to be held in Usk’s Twyn Square over the first weekend of July this year.
Nick is keen to support this new venture which is aimed at bringing together the many active groups in the town and to increase footfall for local tradespeople.
Speaking today Nick said:
“The new Summer Festival sounds very exciting and I’m keen to do what I can to help support the Chamber of Trade and everyone involved in organising the event.
“Usk is keen to attract more visitors to the town, and I’m sure the festival will be a great success with many stalls planned as well as other entertainment to help draw in the crowds.”
