Local Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, took part in the “Access 4 All Forum “organised by the South East Wales Regional Equality Council and held at County Hall, Usk last Friday.
The event was well attended by members of the public as well as members and officers of Monmouthshire County Council.
Speaking today Nick said:
“I was pleased to be invited to take part in this event which provides an excellent opportunity for disabled and older people in Monmouthshire to have a voice about the services they receive and how they feel things could be improved.
“It was good see so many familiar faces at the event with representatives from organisations such as the Stroke Association and those campaigning for better disabled access in towns across the county.
“There is clearly a great deal of interest in issues affecting disabled people in Monmouthshire and I look forward to working with different groups to improve things in future.”
