Speaking after the event, Mr Ramsay said:

“This project has been inspirational in improving the lives of older people in our community, particularly those living with dementia.

“Rather than working on fixed plans and a set timetable, the team has developed a more flexible, individual approach, engaging with friends, family and the community as a whole and helping older people stay in their homes for longer.

“Their innovative approach will increasingly form the basis of how Monmouthshire delivers care to dementia sufferers.

“I enjoyed hearing first hand from the staff who set this project up and wish them  continued success in the future.”
