LLANOVER COMMUNITY COUNCIL VISITS PARLIAMENT

MEMBERS of Llanover Community Council and friends were welcomed to the Houses of Parliament last week by local MP David Davies.

After a slightly delated journey due to roadworks on the M4, the group enjoyed a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster and a visit to the famous Thames-side terrace.

Speaking from London, Mr Davies said:

“Community councils are far better behaved in their debates than we are in ours, so it is always a pleasure to welcome them here.”
